Collaborative Spirit
Social Media Tulsa started as a meetup on Social Media Day, June, 30, 2010 at Fat Guys Burger Bar in the historic Greenwood district.
What started as a way to connect with other social media enthusiasts has turned into a very unique business model where community remains at it's core.
Over the past 10 years, Social Media Tulsa's collaborative teams have worked on some of the most popular events and festivals throughout the Tulsa area. Including but not limited to; Tulsa Oktoberfest, Route 66 Marathon, SCOTFEST, Patriots in the Park, COUFEST, and our very own SMTULSA Digital Marketing Conference.
"Individually, we are great. When we work together, we are an unstoppable force." Cheryl Lawson, Founder of Social Media Tulsa

Social Media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Messenger have become the first place event participants go to ask questions, report lost or stolen items, complain and complement, and of course to find out if the event is worth attending.
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF SMTULSA CONFERENCE
It's hard to believe that we will be celebrating the 10th annual SMTULSA conference aka Social Media Tulsa Conference in a few months. We're not sure how it will look, but we are working to make sure that the experience fits the spirit of the community we started in 2010 and the conference we started in 2011.
You'll see some familiar faces like Becky McCray who has been a part of every SMTULSA Conference. Doug Stewart, Mandy Vavrinak, Roxanne Roark, Lollie More, James Bullis, Deb Brown, Curtis Midkiff, Nik Marino, Angel Adams, Adam Earnheardt, Cheryl Lawson, and so many more speakers, supporters, and attendee friends.
2020, our 10th anniversary looked a little different, but the spirit of community was still felt even though we were online.
The virtual conference was amazing. You can get a virtual ticket to view all of the recorded sessions. Click on the link above to purchase your ticket or visit smtulsa.com
